About Photown

Photown is primarily a town and city photo resource. The goal is that every town on the planet shall be represented by at least one photo, no matter how big or small the town is.

The Photown service is 100% free of all charge. All photos are uploaded from our visitors and are protected by international laws of copyright. Anyone can upload photos to a town or city. You don't even have to be a member or signed in to get a photo of your town represented at Photown. Just navigate to your town and upload! If your town is missing in the list, you can add it just as easily!

Please don't abuse this "open thinking" and upload abusive, commercial or pornographic photos (read our terms of use before you upload). Any case of dispute about a photo origin or copyright protection result in immediately removal of the photo from this service. A handful webpage administrators make sure that all uploaded photos are taken from "a city point of view", which basically means that no portrait photos or personal photos are permitted at the city level.
